Babe Lake - Go Asia Travel


Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Welcome to Hanoi with warm greeting and flowers (D, WP)
We pick you up at airport and transfer to inner city, check in hotel and visit some interesting destinations such Ba Dinh square, Presidential palace, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature and Tran Quoc around West Lake. You take a Cyclo tour around the Old Quarter, have dinner in local restaurant and enjoy a water puppet show, a traditional art form unique to northern Vietnam, overnight in Imperial hotel or Tiran hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi - Ba Be Lakes (240km) (B, L, D)
We pick you up from your hotel in early morning and leave for Bac Kan. During the 6 hour drive, we pass by Thai Nguyen city. For about 3 hours ahead before noon that we can arrive at the destination, we will stop at Bac Kan town for lunch (just a good local food stall). Then around 4.00 pm, we arrive at Cho Ra
town. Our tour guide will take a walk to the neighborhood to visit schools. You have dinner, overnight in Thuy Dung hotel.

Day 3: Ba Be lake discovery (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you start an interesting boat trip around the lake. Firstly, we visit Puoong cave (cave of bats). There are thousands of bats inside the cave making the awesome picture with strange sound and moving. Next, you visit Dau Dang waterfall with magnificent view with hundreds of huge trees surrounding it. Lots of photos can be made. After that you have lunch in local restaurant enjoying strange local foods. You keep boating to the middle of the lake to visit Fairy Pond and listen to its story. You are in the middle of the lake which is as flat as mirror. Say goodbye to the boatman, we walk 2 kms through the jungle to Pac Ngoi village where Tay ethnic group lived long time ago, have a shower, relax and have dinner cooked by the host, overnight in home stay.

Day 4: Ba Be lake – Hanoi (B, L)
Again, take the moment of fresh air in the morning. You check-out, say goodbye to the host and leave this small village for Hanoi by 10.00 am. If we are lucky to be on Sunday, take a chance to visit kermis - a typical local market in highland areas. Take lunch on the way, we arrive at Hanoi by around 5.30 PM.

Trip note:

- What To Bring: Passport, change of clothes, sun-glasses & hat, toiletries, sun cream, insect repellent, flashlights, good shoes, personal first aid kit & medicines, small VND notes for buying drinks.
- The drive is a bit long but this is really worth to visit Babe lakes
-  Home stay condition is very basic, Vietnam local foods
