Tour overview:

Our charity tour starts from Hanoi, then pass by to the Red River, where we experience daily life of villagers on lower land. Spend 3 days to Mu Cang Chai with the poorest families, orphans, children who cannot go to school because of lacking time and money. They have to struggle with their life by helping their parents to do housework. We give them foods, clothes, studying equipments.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1:  Hanoi arrival (D)

Welcome you at airport, we transfer you to hotel in Hanoi, have dinner in local restaurant and enjoy Water Puppet Show. You overnight in hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2:  Hanoi – Nghia Lo (B, L, D)

Start a long drive to Nghia Lo, on the way have chance to watch the countryside picture. We have lunch on the way and keep going to Nghia Lo town. We will stay overnight in Nghia Lo town.

Day 3:  Nghia Lo – Do charity in Mu Cang Chai (B, L, D)

We will pass many villages of ethnic people and amazing terrace paddy, surely this area will give so beautiful photos collection about northwest of Vietnam. We reach the top of the pass of Khau Pha, then Mu Cang Chai. We work with local authorities to know exactly how many families need strong supports. A part from clothes, medicine, books, pens, backpacks, we donate them in cash as scholarship for the hardest pupils. We go to visit those families, give them support, advises and encouragement. Lunch is served on the way and goes back to Nghia Lo for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Nghia Lo – Hanoi and departure (B, L)

Following the old route, we come back to Hanoi, relax and prepare for going to airport

Trip note

Accommodation and foods: We aim to do charity, so staying in 2 or 3 star hotel in Hanoi is the best solution that makes you feel healthy and comfortable or even safe. You will enjoy the absolute local foods cooked by local people with hygiene and quality. When you are in Nghia Lo, hotel provided is just 2 star hotel on basis.

What to bring: You had better take sun cream, hiking boots, bottled water, and comfortable clothes. GAT travel’s staff will wrap all necessary charity offerings in to a box together with your offerings. We make sure all of this hand directly to poor children, cash donation should be handling to poor family, you will do that directly

Guide acted as interpreter: Our guide will help you with Vietnamese-English/French or reverse conversations with our staff’s support to pre-contact to local government and authority under the name of our company
